We designed this layer as a perfect solution for days when the weather can’t quite make up its mind, giving it the neat structure of a coat with the lightweight, malleable feel of a throw-on jacket. You can wear it with or without the belt to suit your look; the feminine seam detailing along the front sides will keep it looking sleek either way, just like the hidden pockets. We chose a revere collar – the kind that’s more often found on a blouse – so it’s more relaxed in look and feel, and sits flat against the body in a clean V shape. We added a touch of cashmere to the soft double-faced wool-blend fabric, so it feels luxuriously smooth and like you’re wearing your comfiest knit.
